At Koby Craftsmen, we understand that getting your floors redone can be a daunting task.

There are so many choices to make, and it can be hard to know where to start.

We have a simple, but detailed 10 step process that makes getting your floors redone a breeze.

Trust our process and you’ll have floors that will last.

10 Steps To Transforming your home

Step 1. Fill Out Our Form

Fill out the form by clicking “Get A Quote”. Feel free to attach any images you may have so we can talk more in depth about your project scope.

Step 2. Phone Consultation

During the phone consultation, we will discuss your vision for your home. Together, we can dive into design elements, material budget, and timeline for your project.

Step 3. On Site Consultation

During the on site consultation, we will assess your home and current flooring to better understand the scope of work you want done. We will collect measurements to provide an accurate estimate for your project.

Step 4. Product Selection Phase

This is where we work together to select the best products for your home. You’ll be able to feel the materials and see it in the lighting of your home so you know how the flooring will look in your space.

Step 5. Signing the Contract

Once we have decided on materials and design of your flooring project, we will go through the scheduled timeline and scope of work, then sign the contract.

During this phase, the cost of materials is paid in full. The remaining balance of your project does not need to be paid until project completion.

Step 6. Pre-job walkthrough

Before we start any work, we will do a pre job walkthrough with you to make sure that everything is ready before we begin.

We will also protect any areas of your home not getting worked on with dust and/or floor protection.

Step 7. We work Our Magic

During the buildout of your project, we will be available to answer any questions that you may have, and we will keep you updated on our progress.

Step 8. Final Walkthrough

After we have finished installing or restoring your floors, we will do a final walkthrough with you to make sure that you are more than happy with the final result.

If there is anything that needs to be fixed before we leave, we will take care of it during this time.

Step 9. Follow ups

We follow up with you 30 days after your project is complete to make sure you are loving your new floors.

We will continue to follow up with you during the duration of your warranty to ensure complete satisfaction.

Step 10. Warranty

We offer a 3 year craftsmanship warranty on our labor in addition to the manufacturer’s warranty on materials. If anything happens to your floors that is part of our contract and is within our control, we will come out and fix it free of charge.

We could not be happier with Koby Craftsmen. We had them install wood flooring in our family room and office. They were extremely professional and personable. And they call you back! We did not want a transition piece between our tile and wood floor. Michael created a custom threshhold for us. Both Michael and Christopher are very conscientious. Our whole experience with them has been nothing but a pleasure. We are using them again for 2 more projects.

Michael and Christopher, of Koby Craftsman, recently replaced our existing hardwood floors and installed new hardwood floors. Michael’s approach and assistance in selecting the right floors and providing an honest and reasonable quote was greatly appreciated. Koby Craftsmen came highly recommended and now we know, firsthand, why. Michael and Christopher installed LVP on our entire first floor (this involved removing carpet, hardwood, and linoleum). Every aspect of working with them was perfect, from obtaining information on their website, choosing flooring, receiving a very detailed proposal and work plan, their skills, knowledge, and experience in installing, the open and easy communication, their organization and professionalism, and their serious attention to detail. Had a wonderful experience with Koby Craftsmen. It was happenstance I saw one of their vans around town and was considering hardwood flooring for my four bedrooms. I called the number on the van and set up a time for a quote within a week of the initial call. Their service was impeccable from start to finish. The quoting process was smooth and very professional. The pricing was reasonable. Koby Craftsmen started when they said they would and finished the project on time. My husband was there during the 5 day project and was extremely impressed with the progress along the way and how they cleaned up each day. Our home did not feel like a construction site. The end product is gorgeous. the floors are everything we wanted. I would highly recommend this family owned business. They do a wonderful job!

We build a screen room. Michael was knowledgeable and helped us decide on the best material to use for the flooring. He is honest and prices are fair. He was great to work with. We are very pleased with the final product.

Having been in the construction trades for over 40 years I was totally blown away by my flooring experience with Michael Kobylarek and his family business Koby Craftsmen.Quality at every turn. An obvious expert with hardwood flooring. He beautifully installed 'Wolf Creek Plank' from Chelsea Plank Flooring. From delivery of the product to the finished installation, everything was absolutely as we desired.
